Applicants intending to establish a record through Bengal Book Of Records must follow the applicable guidelines to ensure that the attempt can be properly assessed.
Before beginning an attempt, applicants should understand the category requirements, eligibility conditions, measurement methods, evidence requirements, and other relevant criteria.
Applicants should clearly describe the proposed record, including the nature of the achievement, the method used, the duration, the quantity or measurement involved, and any other relevant details.
Applicants must maintain genuine and reliable evidence of the attempt. Where required, video evidence should clearly demonstrate the relevant stages of the attempt without misleading edits or omissions.
Clear photographs, witness statements, measurements, relevant documents, and other supporting materials must be submitted when required for the relevant category.
All measurements, timings, counts, calculations, and achievement-related claims must be accurate and capable of verification.
Fabricating evidence, falsifying documents, manipulating results, or deliberately presenting misleading information is prohibited.
All record attempts must comply with applicable laws, safety requirements, and ethical standards. Applicants must not place themselves or others at unreasonable risk to establish a record.
The organization may request additional documentation, explanations, witness confirmation, or other evidence before deciding whether the attempt meets the applicable criteria.
Completing a record attempt does not automatically qualify the applicant for recognition. The attempt must satisfy the applicable standards and pass the verification process.
Official recognition may be granted only after the record attempt has been evaluated, verified, and formally approved by Bengal Book Of Records.
